pendulum gaming

Pendulum Gaming is a young, successful tabletop gaming company born out of a shared love for the world of trading cards and collectible figures. They began as an online store but approached me in January for a rebrand after deciding to open their first physical store in Grantham.

the idea

From the get-go Pendulum gaming knew they wanted their logo to include a pendulum scale and a cloaked figure but they had no idea how that could be executed so I worked with them to find a solution. Much of their love for tabletop games came from Japanese media, so it felt right to create a mascot as part of their logo that could be used in different ways in the future. Since they're a very welcoming and friendly community, we went with circular shapes in the icon to give it an approachable appearance and overall created a brand identity that stands out with vibrant colours and playful imagery that can be taken across digital and physical platforms.
